Shuttle between terminals
As T1 and T2 are several kilometres apart, Aena runs a free bus between them. At T1 it leaves from the departures floor and at T2 it stops in front of the terminal buildings. The journey takes about 10-15 minutes; if you have to change terminal to catch a flight, allow at least half an hour in total.
Assistance for people with reduced mobility
Aena's «Sin Barreras» service accompanies passengers with reduced mobility free of charge from their arrival at the airport to the plane, and vice versa. Ideally, request it when you book your flight or at least 48 hours in advance through your airline. There are signposted meeting points at the terminal entrances. The Aerobus is adapted: all its buses have a ramp and wheelchair space.
Eating, shopping and waiting
Both terminals have cafés and restaurants on either side of security, and T1 has a large shopping area with a duty-free shop after security. There are VIP lounges in both terminals for those travelling in premium classes or paying for access.
Parking
Each terminal has a general car park, an express car park (closer and pricier, for short stays) and long-stay options. If you're only picking someone up, the terminal's own car park is the most convenient: you can't wait stationary on the access roads. Prices and bookings on the Aena website.
Lost property
If you've lost something inside the airport, contact Aena's lost property office. If it was on the plane, claim from the airline; if it was on the Aerobus, from the bus operator. We explain it on our contact page.
